Topic: Classroom and Student Complexities: A Psychological Guide for Teachers

This talk will briefly touch on some areas of student and classroom complexities. These include anxiety and stress and its impact on the learning process, power struggles in classroom setting, diversity issues and how they affect teachers and students, mindful learning and teaching, promoting student excellence, and an introduction to recognizing students with mental health concerns. If time permits, we will also briefly cover the concerns of how a teacher’s mental health and wellbeing determine the quality of the learning process.
