马来西亚基督教联合会 CHRISTIAN FEDERATION OF MALAYSIA PERSEKUTUAN KRISTIAN MALAYSIA 26 Jalan Universiti, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia Telephone / Fax : + 60 3 7957 1457 Email: [email protected] 2015年 5月 22日 马来西亚基督教联合会(CFM)媒体文告 马来西亚基督教联合会强烈反对宗教表达的公共空间被限制及宗教自由被压制 马来西亚基督教联合会(CFM)观察到在马来西亚宗教表达的公共空间不断被限制。 CFM 也留意到令人担忧的趋势,即在没有与有关当局协商下,压制宗教表达的自由。 由于国内的宗教冲突事件连续不断,全国整体对宗教之间的接纳与谅解度也因而每况 愈下。 最近发生在雪兰莪州美丹花园回教徒要求教会拆除十字架的风波,亦是上述情况的实 例之一。向来被视为神对人类的爱和牺牲的基督教信仰的核心象征—十字架,被部分 人视为具威胁性。除此以外,某些马来文的宗教字眼被禁用也反映了上述情况,而这 些字眼在国家独立前已在基督徒的信仰生活中被广泛使用。普遍上,大家都认为这种 恐慌源自于怕受影响而改教的想法。这种恐惧造成关系紧张,并导致近期数次马来文 圣经被充公或非法扣押事件,直到圣经上被加印警语及被污埙后才得以归还。 更甚的是,尽管还在初步讨论中,现今提出了沙巴和砂劳越的圣经进口将会受到最新 公布的管理要求和程序的限制。除了供个人使用外,这些最新的管理要求和程序包含 了严禁圣经入口西马,这完全违背了联邦宪法中宗教自由的条例。 这不但不能在多元种族,文化和宗教的国家中建立互相尊重和有自信心的宗教团体, 反而引致恐惧,紧张和猜疑。 我们的国家极其需要良好及互相尊重的对话,以促进彼此之间的谅解及更宽广的角度 来看待事件。 CFM反对限制宗教表达的公共空间及宗教压制。CFM呼吁立刻落实以下项目: A. 所有政府部门及机构的执法者必须履行本身的职责,在联邦宪法阐明的范围内, 公平地执行他们的任务,以确保少数民族的宗教自由也同样受尊敬,以至拆除 十字架及扣押圣经及其他宗教的书籍和材料的事件不再发生。 B. 所有的公务员,特别是在前线与公众人士接触者,必须被装备他们好使他们在 处理各宗教事务上能具有一定的礼貌与敏感度,并能够毫无偏见地给予所有的 宗教一定的尊敬,不论本身的宗教信念是什么。 C. 内阁必须遵守有关不再限制马来文圣经在全国自由使用及入口的“十点解决方 案”。政府应该遵守及执行内政部秘书长在 2011 年 ...
