KUCHING CHRISTMAS PARADE 2019 will be organised by the Methodist Church SCAC on Saturday, 7 December, 6.00 pm at MBKS Jubilee Ground. Only selected lay organisations will be invited to register your group as official parish delegates to form our Roman Catholic Church Contingent in this 4-km walk. Participation form with full guidelines will be emailed to the respective lay group leaders concerned.

This year, our RC Church Contingent will comprise 520 official representatives from the 5 city parishes as follows:-
Cathedral (200), Blessed Sacrament Church (120), St Peter’s Church (80), Holy Trinity Church (80) and Chapel of Mother Mary (40).

For better overall presentation, all lay groups representing their respective parishes will be required to dress uniformly and perform some synchronised dance steps or hand movements.

On 7 December, all Catholics are encouraged to participate actively by gathering along Jalan Padungan (from Asia Clinic all the way to Batik Boutique Hotel – 210 metres) between 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm.

Let us collectively proclaim our Christian faith in public on the streets of Kuching city.
