What is K.A.Y.A.?
It is a four week ‘stay-in’ programme based in St. Lukas’ Catholic Centre, Kota Padawan. It prepares Catholic youths to be Christ’s faithful disciple and evangelizer in schools, colleges, university campuses, cities, villages or homes, places where they live and work.

The programme seeks to empower rural youths and it to provide as opportunity for faith formation for youths. Participants are not charged a fee because the programme serves as a “Gift” from the Church to the young people in the Archdiocese.

K.A.Y.A. is a very challenging and demanding formation that proposes an integral and holistic approach to formation.

• Each youth is called to be a disciple of Christ (Mk 16:15)
• Each has the dignity as a child of God (self-esteem)
